  • What are your business hours?

    Our physical offices are open Monday through Friday 8:00 - 18:00, and on Saturdays 10:00-15:00. Our virtual platform is operational 24/7.

  • Where can I sent my shipments from?

    We are based in Barcelona, and have a large network of local partners that can offer you door-to-door services. 


    Internationally, we have elaborate networks in the peripheral countries of the Mediterranean, and have begun to expand our operations to the United States and the Asian markets.

  • Can I get a full refund?

    We offer 100% guarantee satisfaction - if for some reason you have not been happy with the service you received, our team will work with you to ensure you get the financial compensation or a non-financial resolution to the issue. 

  • How big is a container?

    Standard containers come in two sizes: 20-foot and 40-foot in length. The 20-foot container can hold approximately 1050 cubic feet (the contents of a one bedroom apartment). The 40' container can hold approximately 2100 cubic feet. Specialized containers (hi-cube, refrigerated, open-top, etc.) are also available. Contact us!


  • What if my shipment cannot fill a container load?

    No problem! We offer consolidated solutions to make sure you don't overpay for your shipments. Our groupage department can answer all of your questions regarding Less than Container Loads (LCL) - contact us!

  • How long does international shipping take?

    The transit time of an ocean shipment depends on the port of departure and the port of arrival. For example, shipping from the East Coast to Europe generally takes two weeks, whereas shipping from the West Coast to Europe takes four to five weeks. Vessel sailings are regularly scheduled and we can always provide you with the estimated dates of departure and arrival of our next vessels.

  • Will there be additional charges at the port of destination?

    At Playforwarding, when we provide you with a quote, we take into account any taxes or customs charges that may be incurred in the ports of destination. 


    Ports do levy port handling charges upon arrival at the destination port. These charges cover terminal handling/off-loading and documentation fees for your vehicle. PlayForwarding will provide you with contact information for clearing agents at each destination to prepare you with this information ahead of time, and inform you of any costs that you will need to cover.
